Google has started rolling out Android 15 to some of its own Pixel phones. The devices getting this update include the Pixel 6 series and newer according to Google.

What is New With Android 15
- Theft Detection Lock – It Uses AI to detect if your phone is stolen. It then automatically locks it if the thief is running, biking, or driving.
- Remote Lock – Through this, you can lock your device remotley using your phone number and a security check.
- Stronger Protections – This helps prevent password guessing and adds authentication for settings targeted by thieves.
- Private space – This allows the creation of separate spaces for sensitive apps such as banking apps. You can then hide the apps and their notifications from view. Accessing the private space will require additional authentication.
- App Pairing – This makes it easier to pair apps such as Gmail and Google Drive for multitasking.
- Low Light Boost – Android 15 also improves camera performance in low-light settings with better in-app controls for third-party apps.
