Glovo has today announced the appointment of Shiro Theuri as its new CTO. Shiro joined Glovo in 2022 as the Senior Director of Engineering. Before her role at Glovo, she held several senior engineering positions at various startups and small businesses.
She was previously the VP of Engineering at Sendy, an end-to-end fulfillment platform, and the CTO at FrontlineSMS, a mobile campaign messaging service. She was also the Co-Founder and CTO at TIBU Health, an Omnichannel Health Technology company that delivers health services where people live, work and click.
“I am thrilled to get the opportunity to play a key role at Glovo, and use my position to lead and drive innovation within the organisation. My main goals will be to keep delivering excellence in our customer experience while building the best tech and data strategies to scale our platform in all our markets. As a passionate mentor for others, I’m also excited to use my role to empower more women and support diversity in technology while building the best technology team in Europe.”
