Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at Radisson Blu

Radisson Blu has installed EV charging stations on its premises. The charging infrastructure will be available to use by hotel guests later this year. We have seen a handful of companies incorporate charging infrastructure in their premises with the most recent one being NCBA bank.

Speaking about the collaboration, Russel Storey, General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi Upper Hill, expressed his excitement to partner with Humming Bird Transport in a shared vision to promote sustainable mobility within the hospitality industry. “This partnership marks a defining moment in the hospitality industry. By introducing electric vehicles, we are not just reducing carbon emissions; we are re-writing the script on the hospitality industry’s environmental impact. We are also aiming to redefine the tourism experience while championing Kenya’s leadership in green transport in Africa,” he added. By adopting electric vehicles for guest transfers, Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi Upper Hill, has taken a proactive step in minimizing its environmental impact. Electric cars produce zero tailpipe emissions, resulting in cleaner air and a reduction in greenhouse gases. This eco-friendly approach aligns with the country’s sustainability goals, making Kenya a frontrunner in green transport in Africa.
