Applications are Open for the Africa Tech Startup Forum Accelerator by Africa Development Bank

Africa Tech startup forum

The Africa Tech Startup Forum is now officially accepting applications. This a Market Access and Acceleration program that is designed to prepare, train, expose, and connect tech ventures with opportunities.

The program happens both virtually and in person. Its main aim is to give African tech innovations a platform. Through this platform, collaboration opportunities can be cultivated with experts across the world.

Funded by the  Korea Africa Economic Cooperation (KOAFEC) Trust Fund through the African Development Bank (AfDB)’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab, the Africa Tech Startup Forum is a dynamic hub for innovation, collaboration and growth in Africa’s evolving tech landscape.

The incubation program provides early-stage tech startups with a  nurturing environment to accelerate growth. Through this, entrepreneurs have access to mentorship, specialized resources and collaborative workspaces. This should help encourage the growth of new ideas and transformation of concepts into profitable products or services.

The forum also has a B2B matchmaking platform that encourages interactions between established businesses and the startups.

Investors are also able to connect with startups with the hope of supporting their ventures. The startups can thus get the funding they need to scale their operations.
