OPPO has added yet another smartphone to its portfolio in kenya. This new series, the OPPO Reno 11, has been unveiled in Kenya today and will be available on pre-order through OPPO stores across the country and on e-commerce platforms from tomorrow (26th January 2023). The Phones will be available to purchase in retail stores from 1st February 2024 after the pre-order period. The recommended retail price is Ksh 67,999 for the Reno11 5G and Ksh 85,999 for the Reno11 Pro 5G.
The OPPO Reno 11 series is made for photography enthusiasts thanks to its Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System, spearheaded by a 50MP Main Camera with OIS. It comes with ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 and has a big battery that promises all day usage and faster charging speeds.
OPPO Reno 11 Inspired By Nature
OPPO says the Reno 11 is heavily inspired by nature. It comes in two colors of Wave green and Rock Grey. This series features the same lightweight 3D curved body weighing just 181g. The camera area is uniquely designed with dual Sunshine Rings.
As I have mentioned above, this phone is made for photography enthusiasts. It features an Ultra-clear Portrait Camera System featuring a 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera, a 32MP Telephoto Portrait Camera, an Ultra-wide-angle Camera. For selfies it comes with a 32MP Ultra-Clear Selfie Camera. OPPO says the upgraded imaging technology will ensure users take professional portraits that stay to true to your natural beauty while incorporating local tastes and styles.
Providing all the power is a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC Flash charge. Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor paired with either 8/12 GB of RAM. I am curious to try out the Dimensity 7050 processor as I am yet to use a phone powered by this chip.
Additionally for the first time in the Reno series, Reno11 comes with LinkBoost enabling users to have stable and fast connections no matter where they are, and Dual Stereo Speakers with Ultra Volume Mode enhance your immersive entertainment experience while making sure you never miss a call.

The Reno 11 pro comes with 80W SuperVOOC charging speeds, faster than the standard Reno 11. the battery capacity is slightly small at 4,600 mAh.
Powering the Reno 11 Pro is the mediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage. On the software side, OPPO has introduced its proprietary network data transmission engine, LinkBoost, to the Reno11 Pro.
