OPPO is set to launch the Reno 11 series on January 11. The series will have two devices, the Reno 11 and the Reno 11 Pro, the successors to the Reno 10 and Reno 10 pro. You can get the reno 10 series in Kenya and I reviewed the standard variant a few months back and loved it. I am expecting the Reno 11 series to be equally as good.
The Reno 11 series was unveiled for the Chinese market back in November and it should make its way to other markets after the January 11 launch. Side note, launching the Reno 11 on January 11 is clever.
The OPPO Reno is expected to come with the mediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor compared to the Reno 10 that comes with the Dimensity 7050 processor. It will also support 67W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The Reno 11 Pro on the other hand might be powered by the Dimensity 8200 or Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. For charging, it will support 80 W charging which should fully charge its 4800 mAh battery in less than an hour.
Both variants are expected to come with Android 14 with ColorOS 14 and have 32MP telephoto cameras. These specs are not confirmed and OPPO has a history of changing some of the specs for its phones available outside China. I will keep an eye on those and update when I get that information.
