The OPPO Reno8 T 5G is the latest smartphone from the company to be launched in Kenya. This phone is part of the Reno8 family but is quite an upgrade when compared to the Reno 8 and Reno 8 5G from last year. I did review the OPPO Reno 8 5G late last year and loved it and never expected the Reno8 T to be unveiled so soon. The Reno 8 5G is available for Ksh 60,000. The Reno8 T on the other hand is available for Ksh 49,999 which is a bit cheaper than the Reno8 5G . The 4G Variant will be available for an even lower price.
With the OPPO Reno8 T 4G, the company is really competing with the Tecno Phantom X2 series that as launched in the country last month. These two phones target the same users and it will be interesting to see who emerges the winner.
I do have the OPPO Reno 8T 5G in for review and should have my thoughts on it in the coming weeks. From the few days I have spent with the phone, I love it. It does feel like an upgrade from the Reno 8 5G that I have been using for many months.
