LG Electronics has announced the appointment of Dong Won Lee as its new Regional Managing Director for East Africa. He takes over from Sa Nyoung Kim who served as the Managing Director for three years.
Mr. Lee has a wealth of experience in the consumer electronics industry, with over 20 years of hands-on experience in leadership, performance improvement, sales, and marketing. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Managing Director of LG Iraq where he increased sales growth by 50 percent, registering double-digit growth.
In his new role, Mr. Lee is expected to work closely with the regional leadership team to develop and implement strategies for continued success in the market. He is tasked with pursuing sustainable growth by strengthening LG’s product lineup in East Africa, including both premium and mid-entry products for the volume zone.
