HMD Global Unveils its second tablet, the Nokia T10

Nokia T10

HMD Global is expanding its tablet portfolio with the unveiling of the Nokia T10. This is the successor to the Nokia T20 from last year. I am still not sure about the naming convention HMD is using as I would have expected the Nokia T10 to come before the Nokia T20 tablet.

The naming aside, the Nokia T10 tablet was unveiled last week together with the new feature phones from the company. You can read more about those phones here. These three phones will be available in Kenya this September.

The Nokia T10 is an Android Enterprise Recommended tablet that comes with Android 12 out of the box. Just like all other recent Nokia devices, HMD has promised that this tablet will get at least three years of monthly security upgrades.

The Nokia T10 has an 8 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. This display is approved for Netflix HD. The display can be used as a second monitor if you want to have an external display connected to your PC.

The tablet is powered by a 5,250 mAh battery that supports 10W charging. No fast charging here but I wasn’t really expecting that since this is an entry level tablet.

The Nokia T10 comes with a Unisoc T606 processor with either 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The tablet has a microSD card slot that can expand the available storage space to 512GB.

For the cameras, the Nokia T10 has an 8MP one with autofocus and flash at the back. A 2MP front facing camera is used for selfies with support for Face Unlock technology.
