Most of the Big Social media Networks have been taking a very different U-turn for a while now. From starting paid services to access some features to increasing their selection and including more or less demanded services from its members.

One of the Platforms affected this week is  Twitter which has a crucial component. It concerns tweets, a feature that enables two accounts to draft a single tweet together. CoTweets are currently being tested with a small group of users and are designed to improve Twitter user cooperation.

So, the user can invite someone else to this tweet while composing a message. This account gets added as the post’s author if it agrees to the request. The dialogue may then continue between the two marked individuals via private messaging.

However, there are restrictions to this functionality, such as the fact that the co-authored tweet’s answers are only directed to its primary author and not to both. There is also a time constraint on the CoTweets test phase. Whether Twitter chooses to use it later on a broad scale is still up in the air.
