The WhatsApp Application runs on iOS and Android mobile operating systems. It takes up a lot of space in the smartphone memory that may be sorted or erased very easily. This article seeks to tell you how you can achieve that quickly.
WhatsApp developed more than 10 years ago, has grown to become the most widely used smartphone app for instant messaging. A smartphone, however, runs out of storage space, which interferes with the operation of other applications.
WhatsApp requests storage space be made available so it may be used to solve this issue. This is how you go about it:
- Access WhatsApp Settings
- Tap Storage and Data > Manage Storage
- Press More than 5 MB, transfer many times, or select a chat
- Select one or more items
- Press Delete
To delete items using the search tool :
- To open the search bar, tap the magnifying glass icon (Android) or scroll down (iOS)
- Select the media category
- Tap on the desired item
- Tap Delete
