The Infinix Note 11 Pro was recently unveiled in Kenya and you can get it in stores for Ksh 27,500. This is the latest in the Infinix Note series that is well equipped to compete with almost every other smartphone within its price range.
The Infinix Note 11 Pro is a performance beast and does handle day to day tasks with ease. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 Processor that has been paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space. As for the GPU, it does come with the Mali-G57 MC2.
In this post, I will be covering the performance overview of the Infinix Note 11 Pro to help you decide if it is right for you.
The MediaTek Helio G96 Processor
The Helio G96 is the engine powering the Infinix Note 11 Pro. This is the latest processor in the series and is a very powerful and capable one. During my review period, this processor handled basic and complex tasks without any issues. This is what I was expecting as this is a powerful processor from MediaTek that is built to keep your phone running smoothly.
The Helio G96 is known to be fast and offers speedy performance and that is exactly what I got. It does outshine most of the other processors on smartphones within its price range. In addition to this, performance is stable and does not fluctuate as is the case with other processors. With that said, you expect to get very levelled performance when running different applications.
This processor can handle most games including Asphalt 9 which I managed to play without any lags.
RAM and Multitasking
A good smartphone should be able to handle different tasks without slowing down. You should be able to switch between different applications without the phone slowing down or the apps restarting from scratch every single time.

The Infinix Note 11 Pro comes with 8GB of RAM that is more than enough for most tasks. If this is not enough for you, you can expand the RAM virtually by using some of the phone’s storage space with a feature Infinix is calling MemFusion. Essentially, this feature uses about 3GB of storage space as additional RAM space to increase the total RAM available to 11GB. With this extra RAM, you can have many apps open at the same time and switch between them and not have to worry about them restarting from scratch every time you open one.
Have a look at the video below showing the performance of the Infinix Note 11 Pro vs the Galaxy S21. Multiple apps were opened and closed one after the other on both phones to see how each handled that. The S21 killed most of the apps in the background while the Infinix Note 11 Pro did not.

Gaming
The Infinix Note 11 Pro is one of the first phones to include MediaTek’s Helio G96 chipset, along with a digital theater system (DTS cinematic dual speakers), Infinix’s Dar-link 2.0 Ultimate Game Booster and graphite blocks with high thermal conductivity. Together, users will enjoy a powerful, comfortable and enhanced gaming experience.
The Note 11 Pro comes with the Infinix Monster Game kit that ensures users can enjoy an immersive gaming experience. This kit combines innovative software and audio features to ensure users get the best gameplay. “For example, Infinix combines the cinematic dual speakers with DTS and XArena with PUBG footstep scouting enhance users’ sense of hearing. Additionally, Dar-link 2.0 improves the performance and image stability, paired with the 120Hz refresh rate display to provide an immersive viewing experience,” the company said.
Conclusion
The Infinix Note 11 Pro is quite a performance beast. The phone does handle all you throw at it without any lags. From day to day tasks to some demanding games, the Note 11 Pro does not disappoint.
