Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro

Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest smartphone series, the Remi Note 10, in Kenya. Succeeding the Redmi Note 9 from last year, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 in Kenya promises to “Kill the competition” by offering the same or better specs at a lower price.

This is clear when you look at the specifications of the Remi Note 10 series that in Kenya will be available in two variants, the standard Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series and the Xiaomi Remi Note 10 Pro.

With the Redmi Note 10 series, Xiaomi is promising a lot and has priced the phones competitively compared to what some other phones they are competing with are available for.

Price and Availability

In Kenya, Xiaomi will launch two models as we have mentioned above, the Redmi Note 10 and the Redmi Note 1o Pro. The prices for the two phones are listed below:

Xiaomi is bringing the two devices in various configurations including:

Redmi Note 10

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro

The most expensive of the two variants is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. This phone will be available in Kenya starting from Ksh 27,500.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro comes with a 6.47-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. This display has a 120Hz refresh rate which is something we don’t see that often on smartphones within its price range.

Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 732G processor that promises superior performance. This processor is paired with either 6 or 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage space. The phone also comes with Android 11 and MIUI 12 custom overlay on top.

The star of the show on the Redmi Note 10 Pro has to be the camera for me. The phone features a quad camera module at the back with a 108MP main one. I will be getting a review unit and I am looking forward to test this out and see what it has to offer.

Below are some of the other specifications of the phone.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10

Even though the Redmi Note 10 Pro is the star between the two, the standard Note 10 is equally as good. The phone can compete with some of the other devices on the market.

It has a slightly smaller 6.43-inch AMOLED display. This display has a 60Hz refresh rate which may not be as good as the 120Hz one but still good considering the price of the phone.
