Nokia 6.2’s Successor Leaks

Nokia 6.4

HMD Global is reportedly working on a successor to 2019’s Nokia 6.2. Leaked renders from one of the most revered device leakers, Steve Hemmerstoffer, provides the first look at Nokia 6.2’s successor, called Nokia 6.3 / 6.4.

From the renders, there’s not a whole lot of disparity between Nokia 6.2 and its successor. HMD has kept most of the previous design, and the new device has subtle changes on the exterior. One main difference between the two is the location of the fingerprint sensor. HMD has moved it from the rear to the side, embedding it in the power button.

It sports a slightly larger display, measuring in at 6.45-inches but with an identical water-drop shaped notch that houses the selfie camera. There’s a quad-camera setup on the back placed in a circular shaped bump. Precise camera specifications are not known as of now.

Nokia 6.3/4 also features a headphone jack, a dedicated Google Assistant button to those who care about that,  like the Nokia 6.2.

According to the leaker, Nokia 6.3/4 might be announced before April, but no pricing details have been provided yet.

Nokia 6.2 landed in Kenya in 2019, going for Ksh 26,500 as the recommended retail price. The phone packed 3/4GB of memory, 32/64GB of internal storage, 3500mAh battery, Android 9.0 Pie(Android One), Triple rear cameras (16MP + 8MP + 5MP), and a single 8MP front-facing camera.
