Rejoice, Apple Music users, because the music streaming service is now available on a variety of Google Assistant smart speakers.

Breaking the news, Google wrote, “Starting today, Apple Music is rolling out to Google Assistant-enabled devices like Nest Audio, Nest Hub Max, Nest Mini, and more.”

Addition of Apple Music support expands Google Assistant support for music streaming services away from YouTube Music, Spotify, Pandora, and Deezer.

Google Assistant support for Apple Music will allow users to search and play songs, albums and playlists just by using voice.

Apple Music subscribers will first have to link their account in the Google Home app. Additionally, users can select Apple Music as their default music streaming service to skip mentioning the streaming service in their voice commands.

For instance, if Apple Music is the default streaming app, “Play New Music Daily playlist” will be all that is needed to get Google Assistant to play music on the app. If not, you’ll have to specify the streaming app, if you have multiple: “Play New Music Daily playlist on Apple Music.”

The rollout began yesterday on Nest and other Assistant-enabled smart speakers and displays in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany and Japan.
