The itel S16 and S16 pro are the latest smartphones from the company to launch in Kenya. The phones were launched in the country less than two weeks ago as the company unveiled its new brand direction and a number of other smart devices including wireless earphones and a new TV line.
The itel S16 Pro comes with a 6.6-inch display while the itel S16 comes with a 6.5-inch waterdrop design. The two large displays take full advantage of the minimal presence of front cameras to make watching videos and playing games a bigger and more enjoyable endeavour.
The itel S16 and S16 Pro represent the company’s leap into not just smartphones that compete with most others within their price range but rather fashionable devices that will get anyone excited. With these new devices, itel has focused on three core things and these are, their appearance, selfie camera performance and overall experience.
The new itel S16 phones come with AI Selfie 2.0 that features AI beauty 3.0, AI bokeh effect, AI portrait HDR, smile selfie and AI dirty lens detection.
Besides the cameras, the new itel S16 phones come with 4,000 mAh batteries that the company says can last for up to 7 hours when watching videos and 25 hours on 3G calls. There is the new AI Power Master that promises an increase of 10% efficiency than before. The new version AI Power Master offers a more Intelligent and Automatic power management.
