The realme 6 is one of the latest smartphones from the company to launch in Kenya. This is the second device from the brand that started as a sub brand under OPPO. The first device from the company to launch in kenya is the realme C3 that is available locally for Ksh 13,000. The realme 6 on the other hand is available in Kenya on Jumia for Ksh 29,999.
The realme 6 is not an entry level phone as is evident with the specifications it comes with. It is powered by the MediTek Helio G90T processor that is paired with 4,6 or 8GB of RAM and either 64 or 128GB of internal storage space. It comes with a quad camera setup made up of a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor, 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
The official launch date of the realme 6 in Kenya is August 25 and that is when we will know more about the company’s plans for this market. The realme 6 might help the company compete with established brands such as Huawei, Samsung, OPPO and Xiaomi.
