Samsung is about to announce its new foldable device at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event next week Wednesday.

The foldable phone is a successor to the company’s Galaxy Fold and rumor suggests it will sell under the Galaxy Z Fold 2 name. This was later confirmed by a blurry image of a 5G variant of the device booting up on Twitter.

In the biggest leak yet, the upcoming foldable phone has been revealed in 3D renders which give us the first look at the device. From the renders, the foldable phone exhibits massive design improvements than its much-troubled predecessor.

The internal panel is bigger as well as the external one compared to the Galaxy Fold which had a 7.3-inch display on the internal and 4.6-inch on the outside. The external display is reportedly 6.23 inches which is at par with the modern smartphone display. When opened flat, you get a 7.7-inch display making it a phablet of sorts.

Additionally, the back of the phone now has a massive camera bump housing three camera lenses. The camera bump design looks similar to what’s stacked behind the leaked Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the jewel among the Galaxy Note 20 series.

Apart form the renders, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset.
