The Tecno Spark 5 is Now Available in Kenya for Ksh 13,999

Tecno Saprk 5 box

The Tecno Spark 5 is finally available in retail stores in Kenya. This is the successor to the Spark 4 from last year and you can get it in the country starting from Ksh 13,999. This is the second major release from Tecno in the country this year after the launch of the Tecno Camon 15 series not so long ago.

The Tecno Spark 5 is quite an upgrade compared to the Spark 5. Some of its unique selling points include the 5 camera setup made up of a quad setup at the back and a single front facing camera housed in a punch hole.

For the back camera, we have a 13MP main sensor, a depth sensor, a macro lens and an AI lens. The front facing camera is an 8MP one. Tecno says these cameras will deliver improved photography experience but that is something we will look at in the full review that will be up tomorrow.

Dickson Ireri, East Africa Reigional Training Manager commented on the introduction of the device: “We continue to see demand for our innovative smartphones in the Middle East and we are excited to be launching the Spark 5 in the region. As a brand founded on the principle of innovation and the value of AI technologies, the new Spark 5’s five cameras will appeal to users looking for a power-packed smartphone at an accessible price. Users can enjoy a better-connected life by sparking their creativity with the state-of-the-art camera technology at your fingertips, and share content easily with their friends and families through social media channels.”

Besides the camera, the Tecno Spark 5 has a 5,000 mAh battery that should last you for quite a while.
