The OPPO Reno3 Pro With a 44MP Selfie Camera is Now Official

For companies like OPPO, pushing the boundaries has always been at their core. The Chinese manufacturer has been aggressively trying to differentiate its products from those offered by its competitors.

For the longest time now, OPPO has been investing a lot of money on its cameras as it tries to position its products as the perfect option for the youth. The company has just added a new smartphone to its portfolio and as you can guess, the cameras really do stand out.

This new phone is the OPPO Reno3 Pro that has a total of six cameras. This is the world’s first smartphone to come with a 44 MP selfie camera. This camera is coupled with a 2MP depth sensor for the bokeh shots.

For the back cameras, the OPPO Reno3 Pro has a 64MP main lens, a 13MP telephoto lens, a 2MP mono lens and an 8MP wide-angle lens. With this combination, OPPO says it is possible to get images of up to 108MP and 20x digital zoom.

For the display, the Reno3 Pro has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel that has an in-display fingerprint sensor embedded underneath. Powering this phone is the MediaTek Helio P95 processor that has been paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage space. ColorOS 7 which is based on Android 10 comes preinstalled on this phone.

A 4025 mAh battery is included at the back of this phone. This supports 30W VOOC fast charging that promises 50% charge in just 20 minutes.

The price of the 8GB + 128GB model is $410 (approximately ksh 42,000) while the 256GB variant is available for $450 (approximately Ksh 46,000).
