Gotv Kenya packages target different customers depending on what they are willing to spend every month. Compared to its sister company, DStv, Gotv tends to be chaper. Gotv packages in Kenya start from Ksh 199 and the most expensive is Ksh 3,500.

The cheapest package in Kenya is the GOtv Lite. This package is available for a monthly, quarterly and annual subscription options. The rates are Ksh 199, Ksh 500 and Ksh 1,200 for the monthly, quarterly and annual packages. You save a lot by paying annually and that is the option I’d recommend.
For GOtv Lite, you are getting 20 different channels, half of which are local stations.
GOtv Value
The second package is the GOtv Value package. To get this package, you should be ready to part with Ksh 649 every month, over double what you would pay with GOtv Lite.
For this package, you will be getting 35 different channels including SuperSport select 1 and BBC News.
GOtv Plus
For those who want a few more channels, you can go for GOtv Plus. This package attracts a monthly subscription rate of Ksh 999.
There are 45 different channels that you can get with this package including SuperSport 2 and SuperSport 3.
GOtv Max
The second most expensive package the company offers is GOtv Max. This particular one is available for Ksh 1,499 per month. The company says this is the best package for the whole family.
This package has over 60 different channels including SuperSport 5.
GOtv Supa
The 2nd most expensive package the company offers is GOtv Supa. This particular one is available for Ksh 1,899 per month.
This package has over 70 different channels including 6 sports channels.
GOtv Supa+
GOtv Supa+ is the latest package in the GOtv family. This is currently the most expensive package with over 75 channels and will set you back Ksh 3,500 every month. With this package, you do get access to Supersport English Premier league channel as well as Super Sport Select 3. These are in my opinion what make this package worth having over all the other GOtv packages.
How to Install the GOtv Decoder
Installing the GOtv decoder is an easy process that should take a few minutes
- Start by connecting the decoder to your TV using the cables provided
- Take your antenna outside and mount it
- Use the cable in the box to Connect the antenna to the decoder
- Use the power cable to connect the decoder to a power source and power it on
- Set up will begin automatically, choose your preferred language and let the decode scan for available channels

How Do you Pay your GOtv Kenya Subscription?
There are multiple payment options you can use to pay or reconnect your GOtv Subscription. To pay for Gotv via M-Pesa follow these steps:
- Go to the MPESA menu,
- Choose Pay Bill option,
- Enter 423655 as the business number,
- Enter the IUC number (On a red sticker at the bottom of the decoder),
- Enter the relevant full subscription amount,
- Enter your Safaricom PIN number and complete the transaction.
- The customer will receive a confirmation SMS. Multichoice Kenya will update the payments done via Safaricom at least hourly.
