The beta group is currently open to few users using either of Oppo’s F11 series devices, including the Oppo F11, F11 Pro, and F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition.

The company says it will only allow 2000 users into the beta program in the first trial phase. To opt into the beta group, here is what you need to do;

  • Go to “Settings – Software Updates”
  • Tap the settings icon in the upper right corner
  • Tap “Trial Version”, fill in the information

Select the must-know checkbox, then tap “Apply Now” Before opting into the beta testing group, you are advised to be using the latest official version of F11/F11 Pro.

Also, given that this is a test group of the software, you may run into some problems. For those who want something smooth with few possible errors, buy some patience and wait until the official version comes out.

What’s New in ColorOS 7?

ColorOS 7 brings a new visual design, a smart sidebar, better screenshot taking capabilities, navigation gestures, and improved security and privacy features. The new UI based on Android 10 also tags along with the infamous system-wide dark mode, a revamped Home screen with more live wallpapers, more customizability of app icons on the Home screen, including their size, shape, and also style.

There are also several nifty additions to the system for easier accessibility of several functions.
