2020 is here, and before we receive a successor of the Huawei P30 series, which is coming at the end of March, Huawei wants to launch a new version of the P30 Lite. Huawei P30 Lite 2020 will follow up on the P30 Lite initially launched in March this year.
Keep in mind that the company has not been silent about the series all year long to date. They have already introduced an upgrade to the P30 Lite, which was known as the P30 Lite New Edition.
Huawei P30 Lite New Edition featured small upgrades from the camera systems to the RAM, which was bumped up from 4GB to 6GB. The primary sensor here is also the 48MP lens instead of a 24MP lens in the older version.
But now get ready for a new P30 Lite 2020 version coming early next year. According to reports, this phone will come in two painting jobs – Blue and Breathing Crystal. Since it’s just a revamp of the original P30 Lite, the phone will still ship with Google apps like YouTube and Gmail just like the Huawei Y9s which is a refreshment of the Y9 Prime 2019 with few spec bumps.
Being a successor to the original P30 Lite, it is evident that the phone will sport a few improvements over the former just like what we’ve seen with refreshments of other lines.
For comparison, Huawei P30 Lite sports a 6.15-inch HD+ display, 6GB of RAM, 128GB ROM, Octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 710 SoC, 24 MP, f/2.0 selfie camera, rear-mounted fingerprint, 3340mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and USB Type C connector.
Details of the new phone are still scanty, but rumors have it that we should expect a price tag of around KES 39,000.
