2020 is around the corner, and company’s like Huawei, who have a renewal cycle of six months, are already planning to launch a new flagship device. Head of Huawei Consumer Division, Richard Yu, says the company will launch the Huawei P40 Series at the end of March 2020. The launch event will be held in Paris.
Yu said the company’s next flagship would feature a never-been seen before design and, of course, some typical improvements. He said that the Huawei P40 series would have advanced enhancements in terms of camera image quality, chipset performance, and battery life.
The company will still distribute their upcoming flagship devices via normal channels – through carriers and stores. Unlike the P30 Series, Huawei P40 series will not ship with Google Mobile Services, but Huawei will have its alternatives installed.
For the Operating System, Huawei P40 will still use the open-source version of Android 10 splashed on top with EMUI 10.
This is just a similar way in which the Huawei Mate 30 launched. Huawei Mate 30 has been selling well in the Chinese market, which is no surprise since Google doesn’t operate in China.
There are already rumor mills churning details on what we should expect with Huawei’s upcoming flagship devices. But you can’t place your trust in those yet. Some may turn out as true, though.
