The tablet market is not as competitive as it used to be in the past and we are not getting a feel of commitment from tech companies to make them even better as we do on flagship phones or phones in general.
Pro tablet models are the few ones which have been making tremendous progress and it seems like Huawei has dived right into it with a rumoured Pro slate of its own.
Images of the Huawei tablet have been posted by 91mobiles. The images apparently show this new tablet, along with a magnetic keyboard case and stylus. It’s believed that the tablet could be called the Huawei MediaPad M7 or MatePad Pro according to Evan Blass.
The renders show that the tablet will come with a punch-hole display, allowing for a higher screen/body ratio.
From the renders, there is no fingerprint scanner on the front or the back of the slate which suggests that the tablet is poised to use an in-display sensor or camera-based face unlock instead. It will be better if it came with an in-display sensor because face unlock is usually not that secure as an in-display sensor.
It is also rumoured that the device will have a dual-camera set-up and plenty of storage. It is not clear however on the internal specifications though so all these are speculations.
This tablet, just like the Huawei Mate 30 Pro may not have Google Play Services when it is launched. This device might be launched mid-next year as the MediaPad M6 is 4 months old in the market.
This tablet looks like it will be a worthy competitor to iPad Pro. We, the consumers can’t just wait to see what it is packed with and determine whether it is the tablet king or not.
