The Tecno Spark 4 is now available in Kenya. This is the successor to the Spark 3 from earlier this year and is available in the country for Ksh 11,999. This is around the same price the Spark 3 was available for when it launched.
The Tecno Spark 4 is a slight upgrade when compared to its predecessor which was launched in the country earlier this year. It has a slightly bigger 6.52-inch display with a waterdrop notch. The company says this phone has a screen to body ratio of 90%, quite impressive and not something we see often on devices within this price range.
The one unfortunate thing with the spark 4 is that it comes with Android 9 Pie and not the latest version, Android 10. I am not sure if it will ever get updated as Tecno is not known for supporting most of its devices. I know Android 10 was just announced last month but buying a phone that you are planning to use for the better part of 2020 and even 2021, Tecno should ensure it gets Android 10 at some point.
