EMUI 9.1 has been in the beta program since April this year which started by rolling out in only four Huawei devices including Huawei Mate 20, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Huawei Mate 20 X, and Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design. Early this month Huawei added 14 more devices both from Huawei and its Honor sub-brand in its EMUI 9.1 beta program.
Huawei EMUI 9.1 beta version includes few updates overs over EMUI 9.0, including an updated icon design and also refined gesture controls with extensive optimization experience among others.
Huawei listed a total of 49 devices that were to receive an update to the Android Pie based EMUI skin version 9.1. The first phase of EMUI 9.1 will be rolled out to 23 devices out of the 49.
But now Huawei’s latest Android skin is ready to be served.
Here’s the timeline on how the full update will roll out for the first 23 devices.
