The Infinix S4 was officially unveiled in Kenya yesterday and is currently available on pre-order. The phone comes in two variants, a 3GB/32GB option and a 6GB/64GB option. If you are confused what these numbers mean, they stand for the RAM and the internal storage space of each phone.
The two variants have the same internal specifications with the RAM and storage space being their only differences. The 3GB/32GB model is available for Khs 14,999 while the 6GB/64GB model will be available for Ksh 18,999. Both variants will be available through InfinixMall and other retail stores across the country. The pre-order sale has kicked off and those who want to skip it will be able to buy the phones after Easter. You can also get this smartphone through Jumia if you prefer that.
Check out the Infinix S4 unboxing video below.
The Infinix S4 is the successor to the Infinix S3 and S3X from last year. The S3 series was a hit and miss device and I am curious to see if the S4 has addressed the shortcomings of the S3. I have a review unit that I will be using for the next couple of weeks and share my experience after that.
Before we get to the review, here are some of the specification of the Infinix S4.

As you can see from the specifications above, the cameras are the key selling points of the Infinix S4. This has always been the case with the S series from Infinix. The phone has a 32MP selfie camera which seems too much to me but I will have to say more about that once I have reviewed this phone. At the back it has a triple camera setup made up of the main sensor (13MP), a wide-angle sensor (8MP) and a depth sensor (2MP). All these cameras work together to ensure you get the best shots.
I will be using the phone for a couple of week so come back for the review then.
