The 2GB version of the Xiaomi Redmi 6A is Available on Jumia for Ksh 7,999

Xiaomi Redmi 6A

If you have always wanted the Xiaomi Redmi 6A, you can get it on Jumia for as low as Ksh 7,999. I am not sure how long it has been available at this price but I got a link from a friend who wanted to confirm if it was genuine or not.

S24 FE

The Xiaomi Redmi 6A variant available at this price is the 2GB RAM model with 16GB of internal storage space. The 3GB model is not listed on the e-commerce website but I still think Ksh 8,000 is a good deal for the 2GB model. Even though this is not the most recent Xiaomi smartphone, at this price, you are getting value for your money.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6A was first launched in Kenya back in August 2018 at Ksh 9,000 but the price went up slightly and at some point the phone was sold out. Xiaomi brought it back and it has been available on Jumia ever since.

Here are some of the specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi 6A.

Display Size: 5.45 inches with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels

Processor: 2.0GHz Quad-core Mediatek Helio A22

RAM: 2GB

Storage Space: 16 GB, can be expanded to 256GB using a microSD card

GPU: PowerVR GE

Android Version: Android 8.1 Oreo

Main Camera: 13MP

Selfie Camera: 5MP

Battery: 3000 mAh battery

You can get the Xiaomi Redmi 6A from Jumia here.

The Xiaomi Redmi Go

Xiaomi’s latest Android Go smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi Go, is not available on Jumia at the moment even though I saw it yesterday but was not able to buy it. I am still searching for this phone and hopefully I will get one very soon to review. If you happen to see anyone selling this phone, you can alert me on Twitter so that I can get it.
