Huawei is set to launch its next smartphone, the Y6 Prime 2019, in Kenya next week.

Huawei has confirmed that it will be launching its next Y series smartphones, the Y6 Prime 2019, in Kenya next week. This launch comes about a month after the company introduced the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 that is available in the country for Ksh 17,999.

The Huawei Y6 Prime 2019 will be cheaper than the Y7 Prime 2019 but the exact price is still a mystery. The company has partnered with Kilimall for those who want to guess the price of this phone. Speaking of the campaign, Head of Eastern Africa Mobile Steven Li said, “Once again there is a new and exciting smartphone joining the Huawei device family in Kenya! The countdown to the launch of the Huawei Y6 2019 has just began and even before getting to experience the unique features this smartphone, there are a number of exciting things.”

Besides the Huawei Y6 Prime 2019, the company also has the cheaper Huawei Y5 Lite which is available for Ksh 10,000. There is also the Y7 Prime that is available for 17,999. Since the Y6 Prime 2019 falls between these two, you can sort see that its price will be anywhere between Ksh 10,000 and Ksh 17,999.
