The Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 is the latest smartphone from the company to be launched in Kenya. The phone is available for Ksh 17,999 and is the successor to the Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 that we reviewed last year. The Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 is competing directly with devices such as the Tecno Camon 11, Samsung Galaxy J6+, OPPO A3S and the Infinix Hot 6X. All these are smartphones available in Kenya for almost the same price as the Y7 Prime 2019.
Huawei says that some of the key selling points of the Y7 Prime 2019 include the 6.26-inch Dewdrop display, the dual AI cameras at the back, the 16MP selfie camera, the 4,000mAh battery just to name a few. These specs are way better than the ones we had on the Y7 Prime from 2018.
