You will be able to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in Kenya as from tomorrow (August 17). The phone was unveiled to a global audience last week and some of those who pre-order it in Kenya will be able to get it on the 24th of August. Those who pre-order the Note 9 will get the new DeX HDMI cable, a wireless charging pad and a tripod stand for free. The new DeX HMDI cable will let users connect the Note 9 (and a few other Samsung smartphones) to a monitor or TV screen. It is a different approach from the DeX pad that has been around for some time.
As for the price, the company said that the Note 9 with 128GB will retail at between Ksh 100,000 and 104,000 while the 512GB variant will between Ksh 124,000 and 130,000.
Making the announcement, Charles Kimari, Head of Mobile Division at Samsung said the Galaxy Note 9 will be offered in Kenya in the colour variants of Midnight Black, Ocean Blue with a Yellow S Pen and the new Metallic Copper with matching S Pen.
