You Can Now Buy the OPPO F5 In Kenya for Ksh 31,990

OPPO F3

Last week, we told you about the official unveiling of the OPPO F5 in Kenya. At the time, you could only pre-order the phone as it was not yet available in retail stores.

If you have been waiting for the OPPO F5, you can now get it across the country for Ksh 31,990. The F5 replaces the OPPO F3 that we looked at earlier this year. OPPO’s F series is made up of selfie centric devices and the F5 is not different. It comes with a 20MP front facing camera with A.I beauty technology. With this, the company is promising better selfies.

“OPPO as a brand has always focused towards offering products that are based on consumer feedback and meet demands. With the F5 becoming a trend and consumers demanding a camera phone that overcomes challenges and clicks perfect Selfies, we have launched the OPPO F5. “Said jessy wu OPPO Kenya brand Manager.

Ksh 31,990 is right where the OPPO F3 was retailing at and this is not cheap. OPPO has not revealed any numbers so it is hard to say if this is working for them. Given the fact the OPPO is not very generous with its sales numbers, I doubt it is doing well. Even if this is the case, it is not that big of a deal, the company is still new in Kenya and has a long way to go starting with the F5.
