Two days ago, Sony updated the Xperia Z5 smartphones with Google’s latest Android release, Android 7.0 Nougat. These were not the only devices that were to get the update as we knew the company had plans to update a few other devices before Q2 of 2017.
The Xperia Z3+ is the next device in the company’s list to get updated. The company is already pushing out Android 7.0 Nougat to this device. The update has just started rolling out and has the same version number (32.3.A.0.372) as the one pushed out to the Xperia Z5.
Android 7.0 Nougat brings some much-needed features to the Xperia Z3+ including multi windows support that allows you to have two apps open within the same window. This feature has been available on some Samsung phones and now Xperia Z3+ owners are getting it.
Besides split multi window support, this update also brings and improved Android Doze, security patches among other changes.
If you have the Xperia Z3+, prepare your device to get this update. The update has just started rolling out so it will get to you very soon.
