When Samsung announced that its Android 7.0 Beta program for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphones a couple of weeks ago, the company revealed that it was limiting registration to users in the UK, US, China, and its home country of South Korea. This was probably a way for the company to test the program before expanding it to other markets.
If you have the S7 or the S7 edge and wanted to be part of the program, you may soon be able to join. This is because Samsung plans to open the beta program to more users in more countries in the coming weeks. This was revealed by Samsung’s support representative in Philippines when queried about the availability of the program in the country.
The exact answer the representative gave was, “You may wait until early next week for its release to your device.” Check out the conversation below.
Samsung is yet to come out and officially confirm that it is expanding the program or even reveal the countries is adding to the program. We will have to sit tight till next week to know more about this.
