Infinix is currently working on its 2016 flagship smartphone that will come in two models, the standard Zero 4 and the Zero 4 Plus. The standard Zero 4 will be smaller and have premium specs but not as high end as those found on the bigger Zero 4 Plus smartphone.
With the Zero 4 Plus, Infinix may also bring two models, one with 4GB or RAM and another one with 6GB of RAM. I got wind of this today but keep in mind that the phone is still in production and that the company may decide to axe the model before its launch day. The source who revealed this to me was very confident that this model will be there when the phone is finally launched but told me that we may not see it in all markets, we might just end up with the 4GB model here in Kenya.
We have already seen smartphones with 6GB of RAM and we have heard that LeEco is planning one with 8GB of RAM. With that said, it is not surprising to see Infinix include 6GB of RAM on its next flagship smartphone that is to be unveiled later this month. I will be waiting patiently to see what Infinix does and if it brings the 6GB model to this part of the world.
Some other specs you should expect on the Infinix Zero 4 Plus include:
A 6.0 Inch display
A Deca-core processor from MediaTek
64GB of internal storage space
Android 6.0 Marshmallow with XOS
20MP back camera, 8MP front facing one
4000mAh Battery
We will know more about this phone as time goes by, in the meantime, check out our review of the Infinix Note 3 below.
