Samsung Electronics East Africa has today opened its latest state of the art store in Africa, with a new concept of improving customer experience through the offering of device convergence.
The new Samsung Experience Store, situated at Garden City Mall, along Thika Road is an upgrade to the previous store that was opened last year.
“The Kenyan retail sector has been growing rapidly. Retail outlets are looking into getting into shopping malls and as a result, we are seeing more of these retail malls are coming up,” said Jung Hyun Park, Samsung Electronics East Africa Vice President and Managing Director. “Garden City Mall has been a prominent feature in Nairobi’s retail shopping mall space, hence the reason why we moved to upgrade our customer experience store.”
The newly designed store allows consumers to interact with the Samsung devices to provide a holistic product experience. Samsung Electronics is banking on the new design that is guided by the latest customer experience specifications, to drive traffic into the store, tapping on the Garden City Mall foot fall.
Samsung Electronics East Africa has in past year concentrated on improving the way customers interact with their products in the East African market by focusing on expanding footprint by creating more convenient and premium buying experiences for all consumers.
“The new experience stores provide us with an opportunity to showcase how the technology at Samsung can be integrated to offer daily personal and business solutions,” added Mr. Park.
“At Samsung, we are committed to providing the most innovative and exciting shopping experience for our customers. We will be able to offer a unique shopping experience tailored to our customers’ needs as well as giving them access to our wide portfolio of connected mobile products” concluded Mr. Park.
