For the past couple of weeks, we have only talked about one device from Samsung, the Galaxy Note 7. Some users who have bought this device have reported overheating issues while some of the units caughtfire when being charged.

Besides the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung has a few other devices that hopefully won’t catch fire. One such device is the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime+ that has been outed by AnTuTu. The device was previously referred to as the Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) but its final name will be Galaxy Grand Prime+.

The benchmark listing reveals some of the key specs you should expect to see on the Galaxy Grand Prime+. The display size is still unknown but all we know is that it will have a qHD one with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. This is not very promising from Samsung especially if you look at what other players are able to offer even in the entry level category.

Besides the display, the Galaxy Grand Prime+ will be powered by a quad core MediaTek MT6737T processor paired with 2GB of RAM, the Mali-T720 GPU and 32GB of internal storage space. As expected, the phone will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.  As you may have seen, the processor used is from MediaTek, this will be the first phone from Samsung to come with a processor from MediaTek.

As for the camera, the phone will come with an 8MP unit at the back and a 5MP front facing one for all your selfies.

Keep it here to learn more about this phone as we get more information about it.
