If you are on Windows phone/Windows 10, then you know that Instagram is one of many apps that were missing from the platform for a very long time. Even though Instagram has been around for a while, the app only landed on Windows 10 Mobile in April this year. Instagram has been avoiding the Windows Phone ecosystem for reasons unknown to us but finally decided to embrace it this year.
Even with this, the experience Windows 10 Mobile get from Instagram cannot be compared to the one Android and iOS users get. Instagram for Windows 10 users have not been getting the latest updates as quick as those on Android and iOS.
With that said, Instagram has just given Windows 10 users a reason to smile as it is rolling out an update that brings with it a number of new features including pinch to zoom. With this feature, you will be able to zoom into photos if you want to do that sort of thing. This feature rolled out to Android and iOS a few weeks ago and it is finally rolling out to Windows 10 users.
Besides the pinch to zoom feature, you will also be able to moderate comments and change font color on stories when on Instagram for Windows 10.
You can get the update from the Windows Store so make sure you head over there if you want these features.
