YouTube Community is the Platform’s New Feature That Makes It Easier for Content Creators to Interact With Fans

YouTube, just like any other website out there, wants to keep people on its platform for as long as it is possible. This is the only way the company can attract new advertisers who will see the value the platform adds to their brands.

The latest feature YouTube is adding to its platform is called YouTube Community and its aim is to make it easier for the creators to interact with their fans. In a statement, YouTube said, “The brand new Community tab on your YouTube channel gives you a new, simple way to engage with your viewers and express yourself beyond video. Now you can do things like text, live videos, images, animated GIFs and more, giving you easier, lightweight ways to engage with your fans more often in between uploads, in real time. Viewers will be able to see your posts in the Subscriptions feed on their phones.”

Community can be accessed from the Community tab on your YouTube channel. Content creators will be able to share live videos, text, animated gifs, images and any other thing they want to with their fans. With this, YouTube hopes that content creators and their fans will interact more. Fans can choose to opt in to be notified anytime you post something new, this mean that they will not miss out on anything.

YouTube says that Community is one of the best products it has designed so far. “Community is a special release for us because it represents the deepest product collaboration we’ve ever done with creators like you. We started by inviting creators in early to develop, in partnership with us, the tools they wanted to better engage with their fans,” the company revealed.

While still on the YouTube topic, we have a new channel which you should check out here. We will be uploading video reviews there so check it out and don’t miss anything.
