Meet The Sony Xperia XZ, The Latest Flagship From Sony!

Sony used to be great, emphasis on “used”. Over the past few months, Sony has been struggling to beat the competition. It even went to the extent of switching its flagship series from the Xperia Z series to the Xperia X series. At the beginning of this year, Sony released the first flagships in this series, Xperia X, XA and X Performance (the most premium of the bunch).

Well, Sony is at it again. Today, Sony have announced the Xperia XZ – which is a flagship that puts together what was great about the Xperia Z series and the new X series. The Xperia XZ has genuinely got me excited, and this is why:

I know, the specs don’t really match certain flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 but this is Sony and there are some things no one else does it like Sony does. I wish we had a 2K screen, more RAM and maybe a larger battery but Sony claims the current battery can last upto two days. I can’t say much about the device as I have not personally experienced it, however, I managed to get some images of the device courtesy of The Verge

I can’t wait for this device to hit the Kenyan market. It is set to launch somewhere in October, who knows I might even just get it. Sony also announce the Xperia X Compact, we’ll talk about that in another post.
