The Samsung Galaxy J7 was one of the most popular smartphones of 2015. This phone is known for its superior camera performance especially the front facing camera that will put to shame some high end smartphone out there.
If you own the Galaxy J7, you will be happy to know that Samsung has started rolling out the Marshmallow update to your device. The phone launched with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and it looks like Samsung is ready to update it to Marshmallow. The update has started rolling out to some users in Russia so we should expect it in other markets soon. This update comes less than a week after the company started pushing out Android Marshmallow to the Galaxy J5.

This is an over the air update that is about 1.04GB in size so you will need a good Wi-Fi connection to successfully download it. you should expect a notification on your device but if you cannot wait for that, you can update your device manually by following the steps here.
Android Marshmallow for the Galaxy A3 2016
Besides the Galaxy J7, Samsung is also planning to update the 2016 Galaxy A3 with Android Marshmallow. This update has not started rolling out but a change in its manual indicates that Samsung has plans to push out the update anytime soon. This might happen in the next few weeks so you should start prepping your device for that.

Both updates for the Galaxy A3 and J7 bring the usual Marshmallow goodies to these phones and comes just a few months before the official release of the next Android iteration, Android N.
