According to rumors, the Gear Fit 2 will have a 1.55 inch Super AMOLED display which will have a resolution of 216 x 432 pixels. Powering it will be a 1GHz dual-core processor made by Samsung paired with 512MB of RAM and 2GB of internal storage space. This looks like a good combination for a smart wearable.

For the OS, the Gear Fit 2 will come with Tizen OS 2.3 which is something we expected as Samsung has categorically stated that it has no plans of making a wearable device powered by Google’s Android Wear anytime soon. The fitness band will come with a 200 mAh battery.

Samsung is also planning to include GPS and GLONASS on the Gear Fit 2. These were not available on the original Gear Fit. These are just some of the many features Samsung will be adding to this fitness band, we will know more when it is launched sometime this month.
