Instagram has been making changes to its app this year with the latest one introducing new monochrome buttons and a new icon which features a full sunset gradient look. In a statement, Instagram said, “Today we’re introducing a new look. You’ll see an updated icon and app design for Instagram. Inspired by the previous app icon, the new one represents a simpler camera and the rainbow lives on in gradient form.”
Instagram says that this new design does not change the way users navigate through the app but rather puts more focus on the photos and videos shared. All the buttons are on the same place and the mechanics behind the app have not changed so far. This is all good but some users are having none of that and they decided to take to Twitter to complain about that.
