New Leak Suggests That the Mid-Range Samsung Galaxy C7 Will Have 4GB RAM and an 8MP Front Camera

Yesterday, we told you that Samsung is about to introduce a new smartphone lineup, the Galaxy C series, to target the mid-range market segment. We even told you about the Galaxy C5 which is supposed to be the first device in this lineup. The Galaxy C5 is said to have a 5.2 inch Full HD display with 4GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 617 processor and will be unveiled before the second half of the year.

The Galaxy C5 will not be the only device in this series that Samsung is working on as we know that the company may also release another device in this lineup. This device, the Galaxy C7, will have slightly belter specs and will be a true mid-range smartphone.

Just like the C5, the Galaxy C7 will have 4GB of RAM, the new Snapdragon 625 processor, Adreno 506 GPU, 32GB of internal storage space, a 16MP camera at the back and an 8MP one in front. The display size is still unknown but all we know is that it will have a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. My guess is that the C7 will have a 5.5-inch display.

The above listed specs just show you how powerful the Galaxy C7 will be. Samsung clearly wants to capture the mid-range market segment and that is a positive thing to see considering that most manufacturers have neglected this segment.

Right now we know that the Galaxy C devices will be launched in China and we are still not sure if they will make it to international markets. Am hoping that Samsung rethinks this as the Galaxy C devices look like very powerful devices to be available in just one market.

We will learn more about this new lineup by Samsung in the next couple of weeks when the devices are officially announced.
