Fast forward three months later and the company has finally revealed when those with Asus smartphones should expect to get Android Marshmallow. The company still did not give out the specifics but gave a general timeline as to when the update will start rolling out.

The company has revealed that it will start rolling out Android Marshmallow updates as from the second quarter of this year. It gave a wide timeline of between April and June when those with its devices should expect to get the updates. This seems to be a bit far and by then we will have started talking about the next Android iteration, Android L. It is a bit far but still it is still good news, as they say, better late than never.

The company has also added a few new devices that will be getting Android Marshmallow. All the devices that will be getting the update include,

ZenFone Max ZC550KL

ZenFone 2 Laser ZE551KL

ZenFone 2 (ZE550ML and ZE551ML)

ZenFone 2 Deluxe ZE551ML

If you own any of the above mentioned devices, you should be expecting the update in a month or two.
