Huawei has a media event later this month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 and the company is expected to introduce some new devices even though it has not confirmed which devices these will be. Some people are hinting on the possibility of the Huawei P9 that will come to replace the Huawei P8 which is selling really well.
The latest information we have about the Huawei P9 comes inform of renders showing us what to expect when the phone is launched. The render also shows the dual camera setup we expect to see on this phone. This will be one of the unique features of the phone and Huawei may use it to separate itself from the other top manufacturers including Samsung and LG who have plans to launch their 2016 flagships at the same event.
From the render, you can see the metal body of the Huawei P9 and the fingerprint reader at the back. This is not hard to imagine but am not sure if the smaller Huawei P9 Lite will have a fingerprint sensor. Check out the render below.
A few other specs we expect to see on the Huawei P9 include a 5.2-inch display, a Kirin 950 and 4GB of RAM. Previous rumors had suggested that the P9 will have 6GB of RAM but my guess is this may be available on the P9 Max and not the standard Huawei P9.
We will update you on this phone as we get more information.
