LG Teases the LG K8 ahead of its official launch at MWC 2016

LG K8

LG Seems to have started the year on a high note judging from what it has been doing of late.  The company has already announced three new smartphones this year and these are the LG K7, LG K10 and the entry level, LG K4. The LG K7 and K10 were unveiled earlier in the year at CES 2016 while the LG K4 was unveiled earlier this year.

These are not the only devices LG is currently working on as we know that the LG G5 will be unveiled before the end of the month. The company will also be showcasing another device we have not heard of, this is the LG K8.

The LG K8 was posted on the company’s website and is expected to be launched officially at MWC 2016 later this month, probably before the LG G5.  From the specs, the LG K8 is mostly a mid-range device.

It has a 5 inch IPS HD display and is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage space. These are not mind blowing specs and that is why I have pointed out that it may be targeting the mid-range or even entry level market segment.

As for the camera, the LG K8 has an 8MP one at the back with a 5MP one in front. Providing all the power to this phone is a 2,125 mAh battery.

The LG Stylus 2

LG also announced the LG Stylus 2 which is supposed to take over from the LG G4 Stylus. This device will be launched in very few markets just like the G4 Stylus. All the above mentioned devices will be showcased at MWC 2016 and that is when we will know more about them including their prices.
