Back in November, we told you about the leaked roadmap that showed how Samsung was planning to update its most recent devices to Google’s latest OS version, Android Marshmallow. Back then this was just a rumor as even some of the most recent flagships still didn’t have the update.

We never heard anything from Samsung since then and this is not strange as the company rarely comments on such things. This does not mean that Samsung has nothing planned but rather the company prefers to work in secrecy.

If you own the Galaxy S5, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, Note Edge, Note 4, or Note5, you may be in luck as Samsung will roll out Android marshmallow update to these devices by the end ofApril this year (2016).

The new information comes from “XTECH LEAKS” and shows us some of the most recent flagships from Samsung that will be getting this update. Below is a screenshot of the image shared online.

From the screenshot, you will see that the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be among the first devices to get this update. This will happen as from next month, February, before the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge get updated anytime between February and March. These will be followed by the Galaxy S5, Note 4, and Note Edge that will get the Marshmallow update by the end of April.

We will keep you updated on this when the update finally rolls out to the public.
