4G LTE is still pretty new in Kenya and is available on Safaricom only, at least as far as I know. Airtel Kenya had plans to roll it out to its users last year but I have not heard if it was successful or not.
Even with the limited adoption of 4G LTE in Kenya, some smartphone manufacturers have a number of smartphones in Kenya that support this. One such company is Tecno which at the moment has four smartphones with 4G LTE support. What is interesting about these phones is that three of them are quite affordable and only one is the recently launched flagship, the Tecno Phantom 5.
Below we will be looking in detail the different Tecno smartphones in Kenya that support 4G LTE.
The Tecno N5S
The Tecno N5S is one of the many entry level the company has on the market. Tecno has not aggressively pushed this phone to consumers and am not sure why given that it is one of the cheapest 4G smartphones in Kenya right now.
